Thiago Misses World Cup With Knee Injury

Spain and Bayern Munich fifa 14 coins midfielder Thiago Alcantara has suffered a setback in his recovery from a knee injury he suffered in March which sidelined him for six weeks. He needs to undergo an operation soon and is bound to miss the German Cup final and the World Cup.

Bayern Munich chairman, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge said, “This is really tough blow for Thigo. We feel sorry for him. A young man who has been working on his comeback and the World Cup in his country of birth, and suddenly both dreams have burst. We will take great care in the coming weeks about him and do everything to ensure that he is fit again to start the season.”
Though the former Barcelona star was supposed to recover in a month, he has not played for 6 weeks. What’s wore, Spain have several other injury concerns with Jordi Alba, Gerard Pique and Jesus Navas also picking up injuries at the end of the season. That’s a pity.

Spain is grouped in Group B along with Netherlands, Chile and Australia.
